Premier League - Match facts: West Ham United v Manchester United - Yahoo! Eurosport UK

Manchester United have recovered 27 points from losing positions in the Barclays Premier League this season, a divisional high.

Wayne Rooney has scored eight goals in 10 Premier League appearances for Manchester United against the Hammers and also netted in Man Utd's 1-0 FA Cup replay win over West Ham in January.

Robin van Persie has scored four goals in his last three Premier League appearances against West Ham and also netted for the Red Devils in their FA Cup game at Upton Park earlier this season.

West Ham have failed to score in six of their last seven Premier League games against Manchester United and in the one they did net, both goals were penalties.

The Red Devils have scored with 19.6% of their shots this season and hit the target with 49.6% of their attempts at goal, both division-high figures.

There have been four penalties scored in the last three Premier League games between West Ham and Man Utd, but the Red Devils are the only team not to concede a spot kick in the league this season.

61% of the shots on target West Ham have allowed this season have come from inside the box, the lowest proportion of any team in the top flight.
