No motive of revenge for West Brom with Arsenal - expressandstar.com

West Brom boss Steve Clarke today insisted he will not use Santi Cazorla's Emirates Stadium dive to motivate his players for their return meeting with Arsenal.

The Baggies face the Gunners tomorrow for the first time since Cazorla went down to win a penalty despite no contact from Steven Reid in his side's 2-0 home win in December.

But Clarke believes last week's disappointing 3-1 loss at West Ham should motivate his men more than the Spaniard's actions before Christmas.

He said: "There will be nothing said about it. What happened before is gone and we can't do anything about it. It's finished. I don't use revenge as motivation.

"Motivation should come from the fact we let ourselves down last week and we want to put on a good performance at home which, by and large, we have done very well this season."

Clarke is without suspended midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu but should have James Morrison available again after he resumed full training following a hamstring injury.

The head coach also faces a dilemma at right-back, where Reid, who completed the game at the Emirates with a broken bone in his leg, is now fully fit to challenge Billy Jones.

"At this stage of the season there are always various knocks and niggles that will be doubts until kick off, but I think I've got everybody available apart from Youssouf."

West Brom have opened contract talks with midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu as boss Steve Clarke attempts to tie down a trio of stars before the summer.

West Brom's coaching team were hit for six when they tried their hand at wheelchair football in a bid to help the Baggies' talented team make it to the Champions League.

Midfielder James Morrison today warned West Brom their season could still be branded a flop if they fail to end their impressive campaign in style.
