The Baylor Bears won their first ever NIT title with a 74-54 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes. Not just a exciting game to view for the casual lover, the Bears placed on a defensive masterclass. They got out on the perimeter and caused fits for Iowa photographers all game long. After 20 minutes, it appeared as if fans were planning to take for a lengthy second half. The two played a very slow-paced, boring first half, mixing for only 49 items on 11-of-53 firing.
