Chelsea FC employer Rafael Benitez needs Liverpool FC get back - Crunchsports.com

Chelsea temporary director Rafael Benitez has claimed he will "almost certainly" return to former club Liverpool at some point as time goes on. Benitez was installed as Chelsea's interim manager last November and hasn't been a well known appointment with many of the club's supporters. But, the Spaniard, who will leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, had a lot more success at Anfield, earning the FA Cup in 2006 and the Champions League in 2005. Benitez left Liverpool this season after falling out in clumps with the club's then owners and finishing seventh in the Premier League, however when asked if he thought he would return to Merseyside for a second spell, he toldAMarca: "I may return, probably. "What I actually do not know is when. My kids and wife still live there." Benitez also recommended when he leaves Chelsea that he can remain in England. "My strategy is always to prepare a competitive group. You will want to in England?" He explained. "We must see and wait. Everything is likely to be worked out." The Inter Milan manager and former Valencia has additionally been linked with a proceed to Real Madrid as speculation remains that Jose Mourinho will reunite for a second spell with Chelsea. "Obviously I know the spot perfectly - I was there from 13 years as a player old and coach," he added. "I am a Madrid fan. It is wonderful to be joined in one manner or another, but that doesn't make me lose my current focus on Chelsea. I've a good relationship with [Madrid president] Florentino Perez. When I've discussed with him, he's been polite".
