Bolton Wanderers 2-2 Blackpool: Not enough as Trotters pass up by the tiniest margin

It was the be-all and end-all match for Bolton Wanderers and the situation couldn't have commenced worse for the men in white. Bolton Wanderers needed whether win or a draw along with another draw in the Nottingham Forest - Leicester City match to be able to make the play-offs. Dougie Freedman elected to change things up in an try to compensate for Craig Dawson's shortage by beginning Craig Davies alone up top and adding five men in the midfield. Bernard Ream placed into that main defensive slot while Rob Hall was given his debut on the wing. Chung-Yong Lee took up his familiar position on the side and Robert Hall was his counterpart on another flank with Chris Eagles slotting in directly behind Craig Davies. Blackpool began the much better aspect with Matty Phillips their main force moving forward. It took just two minutes for Phillips to show what he was all about as he cut inside and hit an effort directly into Bogdan's area netting. It took 20 minutes for the Tangerines to put the injured on Bolton and make the development, through Matt Phillips, needless to say. The winger defeat Zat Knight and a little bit of one-two play saw Phillips get the ball back on the side of the region before it was slammed by him home in to the top place. The Seasiders could increase their benefit a quarter of an hour later, now through Ludovic Sylvestre. The French midfielder found himself in place and Neal Eardley, the fullback breaking ahead with the ball, spotted that. Eardley's cross found Sylvestre's base on the half-volley and the side-footed effort made its way into the back of the internet. Dougie Freedman would excel to admit his mistake and two minutes after the second Blackpool goal, the director would make a change. The generally unsuccessful (save yourself for one free kick) Robert Hall made way for Marvin Sordell and that change made most of the difference. The next official kept the table up for three minutes of extra time and which was all Bolton Wanderers would need to reunite into the match. Bob Eagles could score the first target, receiving the ball from it is cut by Marcos Alonso who back on the edge of the location. The winger skillfully allow the ball run across his human anatomy before scooping it in to the back of the net. Bolton were not done though and it had been Craig Davies that could score again for Bolton in added time. The big striker's effort needed an ever greater deflection and completed in the back of the net past a wrong-footed Matt Gilks. The teams would get into the half all stage at two apiece. The nervy second half would have Bolton Wanderers supporters keep an extremely close eye on the Nottingham Forest - Leicester City fit. Another four purpose occasion because battle might view it level at 2-2 after 50 minutes. It was tense and it was nervy as the foxes went to three at the back and both groups put definitely anything at each other. Bolton Wanderers can have their chances to take the lead, generally through Chung-Yong Lee. Early in the half, the Korean winger's work was somehow cleaned off the point with Marvin Sordell also trying his far better can get on the end of it nevertheless the ball wouldn't budge. Then, with significantly less than five full minutes to go, Chris Eagles broke through the Blackpool midfield and observed Chung-Yong Lee breaking along with him. Eagles got the ball to Chungy however the winger's effort, which probably should have managed to get 3-2, hit the side netting. In the 90th moment, Leicester City might report against Nottingham Forest to draw before Bolton Wanderers on goal difference. A goal would be needed by the men in white to really make the play-offs. The fit would finish 2-2 and the play-offs would be missed by Bolton Wanderers. No body offered the Trotters an opportunity three months ago and what an amazing recovery it was in the last three months of the summer season.
